Ripon Conquers all
The Harrogate and District League has been competing for about 28 years, 10 clubs hotly contest this championship each year. Never has Ripon won the top ladies prizes but this all changed in 2014. At the award ceremony on July 1st Ripon was awarded the Ladies Team Prize and even better Sharon Barlow was top lady out of 531 runners, 16th overall and Torri Green was 3rd lady. Absolutely majestic, brilliant and well I’ve run out of superlatives! Three of our men were in the top 17 so next year——?
