Upper Wharfedale 3 Peaks Challenge
A group of Ripon Runners participated in the Upper Wharfedale Fell Rescue Association (UWFRA) inaugural 3 Peaks Challenge in the Yorkshire Dales on Saturday 28 July. The route was a tough 22 mile long run starting from Kettlewell and included ascents of Birks Fell, Buckden Pike and Great Whernside.
Paul Walker was first Ripon member to return to Kettlewell in just under four hours.
He was followed by Ray Raper, Paul Morgan, Tim Joynson, Matthew Holt and Simon McCudden.
Heather Glegg, daughter and friend walked the 12 mile route.
