Hoka Highland Fling Ultra
In Scotland on Saturday 26 April, The Hoka Highland Fling Ultramarathon, a 53 mile trail race along the famous West Highland Way Trail was run: the route is almost entirely on trails with mixed terrain and stunning scenery. The day finishes with free beer and homemade soup, followed by a traditional Scottish Ceilidh Party in Tyndrum. Bill Foreman once again broke 10 hours for the route, finishing 4th Veteran overall in 9 hours 26 minutes. Paul Walker finished in just over 11 hours, with this 53 mile event coming on top of two 25 mile and one 55 mile race in the last 8 weeks.
