Jane Enjoys Another PB at Leeds
Sunday saw Jane Grundy round of a great year of road running by claiming another PB, this time at the Leeds Abbey Dash 10k. Jane was among almost 9000 runners to hit the streets of Leeds city centre, and added to her marathon, half marathon and 10 mile PB times set earlier this year by finishing first Ripon Runner female in 46 minutes 41 seconds. Anne Cheeseman also went under 50 minutes in 49:45. A sub 37 minute time saw Lee Stanley first back for the club in 390 place overall in 36:56, with less than a minute separating Ben Imeson (38:19), Mark Ryder (38:44) and John Chatwin (38:58). Ruth Streets ran a great time of 52 minutes exactly, as did Helen Cox (54:08) and daughter Beth Constantine (54:21), along with Maria Boyce (56:29), Annette Petchey (58:16), James Parkes (59:44) and Tammy Kirkwood (1:11:29).
