The Ripon 10 mile approx', which is part of the Black Sheep Series, starts and finishes in the Hell Wath Nature Reserve in Ripon. It goes through the grounds of Studley Park and surrounding roads then back to to the area round Lower Fountain Hall, followed by the half mile long steep drag up to Whitcliffe Lane. Then it is mainly downhill on a narrow country road to the finish.
