Ripon Runners was formed in June 1984 by Monty Munson and a group of like-minded people who were all enthusiastic about running. Since then the Club has gone from strength to strength to grow into the well-respected organisation it is now. Elgie and Barlow take the honours in Leeds
Sunday 8 November saw huge success for Ripon at the Leeds Christmas 10k, a varied, multi terrain off-road course. Starting on the flat track at John Charles Stadium, runners had to dash up hill on woodland paths, before a long descent through Middleton Park and being greeted by the new addition of ‘scrooge hill’ just before the finish line.
