Ripon Runners was formed in June 1984 by Monty Munson and a group of like-minded people who were all enthusiastic about running. Since then the Club has gone from strength to strength to grow into the well-respected organisation it is now. On Sunday 9 March Tori Green was our sole representative at the Spen 20 race, a 20 mile long road route that starts at the Princess Mary Stadium in Cleckheaton. Continuing her impressive form, Tori was second female overall finishing in 2 hour 15 mins.
On the 1st February over 100 Ripon Runners and their partners filled the ball room of the Majestic Hotel, Harrogate for our annual dinner and presentations. The hotel staff were on top form particularly with so many of us to serve but the food was still of their usual high standard. The Majestic provided for us...
